Albuquerque Growers' Market Permit
All vendors who sell food in Albuquerque must obtain a Growers' Market Permit through the City's Environmental Health Department. The cost of the permit for selling raw produce and/or pure, raw honey is $15.00. The cost of the permit for selling processed foods and/or eggs, meat, or seafood is $50.00. Vendors pay only one permit fee, either $15 or $50, and need only one permit to sell at all member markets in the City of Albuquerque.
As early as possible before the beginning of the market season, each food vendor should give the market manager either a copy of the 2011 permit he/she has already obtained or a Growers' Market Permit application, with a check, made out to City of Albuquerque - Environmental Health Department, for the applicable fee.
