Bernalillo Growers’ Market Regulations – 2005 Season
PURPOSE
To provide locally grown and processed foods to Bernalillo and outlying communities
To provide a consistent and supportive market environment that enables local
growers, producers, and processors to sell their products
To provide products with nutritional and cultural value
To support small-scale agriculture and community outreach efforts within New
Mexico
To educate consumers about local food and culture
LOCATION
West side of Camino del Pueblo, South of Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo,
NM
DATE/TIME
Fridays 4-7pm, July 8 - October 29
Vendors are expected to arrive between 3-3:30pm to prepare their market spaces
FEES
Seasonal Fee $25 (one-time only)

SPACE ASSIGNMENTS
Permanent Spaces will be assigned only upon receipt of the $25 Seasonal Market
Fee.
Permanent spaces will only be reserved until 3:30pm each Friday. After 3:30pm,
permanent spaces are pooled with temporary spaces and assigned to incoming vendors
as needed.
MARKET RULES
Absolutely NO resale of products will be tolerated.
Permits and/or licenses pertaining to the sale of plants, fresh cut flowers,
and processed goods will need to be obtained through the NM Department of Agriculture
or the NM Health Department. The Bernalillo Growers’ Market will not provide
these permits to vendors.
Atleast 75% of ingredients in processed goods must be grown/raised in New Mexico.
Market Management Team has the authority to deny entrance to any vendor who
violates the purpose and rules of the market.
Respect and professionalism should be maintained by vendors during market hours.
Any concerns regarding the market should be directed to the Market Management
Team.
