On Saturday, October 2, we will have an All Species Day to have fun with our children and animals. This
will be a joyful pre-Halloween celebration of all the creatures of the Earth, no tricks, just FUN. Please
dress up as and bring your favorite animals to the market. Be ready to show off your pet, control them
and clean up after them. We have chosen October 2nd because the date is close to the day of St. Francis
of Assisi to honor his love of all the animals. We hope to develop a relationship with the Mesa Vista
School System in order to involve our youth and the schools in the event and in our farmers' market.
